Crime rankings use your supplied figures. The page assumes crime columns are incident counts. If your file contains rates, keep the recorded-figures view and interpret the labels accordingly. No reporting period is inferred.

Crime columns are identified between LGA and Age_yr_0_4_P; all remaining numeric columns are candidate community indicators. Upload one row per LGA. Duplicate LGA names are rejected. Duplicate column names are kept as separate, numbered fields.

Associations are calculated across all LGAs, never from one LGA alone. Spearman uses ranks with average ranks for ties; Pearson uses the original values. Missing/suppressed values are excluded pairwise and constant fields are omitted. Each association shows its valid sample size. These are exploratory coefficients, without significance testing or multiple-comparison correction.

Per-capita mode divides crime counts by Total Persons (avg), falling back to 2021, then 2016 population. Community indicators remain in their supplied units. Counts can correlate simply because larger LGAs have more people. Area-level associations do not establish causation or describe individuals.

Your CSV is processed in this browser and is not uploaded or saved. Reloading resets the page to illustrative data. The synthetic demo is designed to demonstrate the interface; it is not evidence about any LGA.
